At the Upper Valley Urgent Care Center we know that lost time is lost productivity. Over time
we have learned how to minimize time-off work while providing quality medical services.
- We believe work is therapeutic. Studies confirm that employees do better when
returned to work as soon as possible. We work closely with our employer clients to
align a treatment plan that incorporates your modified duty and aggressive return to
work programs. We focus on good communication among all parties to facilitate
effective coordination of treatment and outcomes.
- Focusing on rapid return-to-work and modified duty programs. Modified duty is vital in
improving productivity, reducing lost time claims; and it may accelerate the healing
process and expedite case closure. We recommend the patient return to work
performing limited duty at least, whenever possible. Our physicians assess, document,
and communicate the injured employee's diagnosis, prognosis, and duty restrictions to
our clients and other appropriate parties.
- We do it efficiently by providing a One-Stop system. For your convenience, Upper
Valley Urgent Care Center has an on-site lab, X-ray, pharmacy, BAT, and non-DOT
drug screening. This enables us to diagnose quickly and because our center offers all
services on site, your employees seldom must go elsewhere for other care.
We keep you current. Upper Valley Urgent Care Center maintains an open forum with our
employer clients. We customize each client profile based on your individual needs so that we
can fax or mail reports, patient instructions, work duty statuses and results of pre-
employment testing in the manner you choose.
Employers Wishing to Open Accounts:
To open an account, employers will need to provide routine information such as business
name, address, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses, responsible Point of Contact
(POC) for authorizing care and referrals when necessary. Also required will be the Name of
the Workers Compensation Medical Insurance Company, policy number, and telephone
number that we can use for pre-approval/preauthorization’s to treat. If the business is self-
insured, it needs to so signify. Employers also specify whether they desire routine post-
accident drug and alcohol screening and provide us with any other requests and stipulations

WORKER INJURY PROGRAM
The Upper Valley Urgent Care Center offers
medical services for most business and
worker related injuries or illnesses as well as
routine pre-employment physicals. We offer
humane and compassionate care guided by a
“get them back to work” policy. We believe
that the expense of Worker’s Compensation
cases is sometimes needlessly high and we
strive to keep pricing under control at all times
without sacrificing quality of care. As in all
cases, those with more serious injuries are
advised to go directly to the nearest hospital
emergency department.
